PuetzPrior to becoming an investment advisor in 1996, John was a manager at Price Waterhouse's Valuation Services Group practice in Chicago, where he was responsible for managing the valuation of closely-held stock interests and businesses. He valued many types of assets, including common and preferred stock of many closely-held businesses, subsidiaries of large, publicly traded firms, and trade names, patent portfolios, and other intellectual property. Prior to becoming a manager, he worked as an auditor at Price Waterhouse in the Middle Market Group for small, non-public companies. John has spoken to many community groups concerning relevant topics in the investment field and has traveled to the Far East, South America, and Europe for his valuation clients. In addition, he has successfully testified as an expert in court in a shareholder's dispute case.
John received his Bachelors of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University
of Notre Dame in 1988. Puetz then attended the Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern
University in Evanston, Illinois from 1991-1995 where he received his Masters in Management,
majoring in Finance.
